Vitamins are important components of nutrition for human health. 13 vitamins are required for good health, out of them four are fat-soluble ( A, D, E, and K ) other all vitamins are water-soluble. The human body can synthesize some vitamins such as vitamin D synthesis from steroids and vitamin K from normal flora.

All these vitamins have important functions in different parts of the body and their deficiency can cause specific syndromes or diseases. The following table has mentioned the function and deficiency syndrome of various vitamins.

2 . Vitamin B for diabetes:-
